Written like a true NON-listener. Sorry, Doris, but I was listening the very first time Rush said he hoped Obama failed and his recent remarks were merely RESTATEMENTS of what he ORIGINALLY said (and said plainly, at least to anyone with their head out in the fresh air and sunshine...) When you consider the original context instead of listening to whatever someone at the NYT said someone reported that Rush was rumored to have meant to say it's a lot easier to actually understand what's going on (that, and you have to actually be *capable* of understanding what's going on.) Cynical old fart that I am, even I'M surprised at how many people misunderstood Rush's original comments and tried to claim he was hoping for the failure of the *office* rather than the failure of the *doofus-in-chief's idiotic policies*
